I got married a couple of months ago; My Grandpa took me to get a full sizzling shave & a hairsplit on the morning of my birthday; It was the first time that I ever spent time with my Grandpa like that, the person has always been legitimately stern & stretched, then on the morning of my birthday, he showed up at the front door with a legitimately large smile on his face, and he told me to get dressed because he had a surprise.
My dad was in the automobile as well.
The many of us drove out to the west side of town where my Grandpa grew up. I found out that my Grandpa has been using the same barber shop for the past 60 years. The owner retired many years ago, but his son still follows the same traditions of a classic barber shop. My Grandpa, father, & myself all sat down in chairs next to each other. The barber started with my Grandpa. He gave him a sizzling towel & a shave with a straight razor. I was a little nervous when it was my turn to get a shave, even though I tried to remain still & control my breathing, after the barber was finished with my heart change, he gave me a haircut. He never asked what I wanted to split to look like, even though I was entirely impressed when the guy was done. I looked like a movie star & I felt like a million bucks. It was one of the nicest things that I will remember from that day.
