I bought my wedding dress about a year before my wedding.
- I loved the dress, and it was on sale.
How could I not purchase my dream wedding dress, when the sale price was 50% off? The dress looked amazing on me, and they even held it in storage until the week before the wedding. Unfortunately, being home through the pandemic caused me to gain weight. The weight I gained was enough that I knew I would not fit into my wedding dress. I had to do something about my weight, or purchase a new wedding dress, and I couldn’t afford to do that. I had a friend who was a personal trainer, and I asked if she could help me fit into my wedding dress. She started me out with some simple yoga stretches. We then moved on to easy weight lifting. Then we did some exercise. I thought it was going to be easy working with the personal trainer. I could get in shape and easily fit into my wedding dress. After I finished with my first week of training, my friend and I went out for lunch. I was going to order a chicken caesar salad, and she stopped me. She ordered a salad with vinaigrette on the side, and all different seeds on it. She also said we would share. I wasn’t so sure I liked the personal trainer side of her. By the end of the month, I was no longer doing simple yoga stretches, lightweight lifting, and simple exercises. She had me on a full workout that left me tired and hungry. By the time the wedding came around, I looked even better in my dress than when I first tried it on.
