We had a proper farewell for the fish.

My daughter’s girl gave her a small fish bowl filled with the prettiest fish I had ever seen.

She told her the fish came from someplace near Australia, & they couldn’t be in the tank with any other species of fish.

Apparently they didn’t get along well together. She said they needed steady un-even temperatures & they couldn’t be in a cold room. She thought that it would be a nice idea to put the fish bowl near the air vent. When she got house from university the next day, the fish were a little sluggish. She moved them a little bit closer to the air vent when she left for university the next morning. They were even more sluggish when she got home, than they were the previous morning. I asked her what was wrong & she told myself and others her fish were dying. I went upstairs to look at the fish & she had them sitting right on top of the air vent. I could smell fish throughout the room & the water in the tank had turned murky. I asked her how long they had been on the air vent? She said she had put them there when she went to university that morning. She was worried that if she killed the fish, her girl would get angry with her. I thought she had a nice chance of him being angry if that was how she was. I took the fish tank off the air vent, & the fish were floating. We gave them a nice memorial repair & a proper farewell as the people I was with and I flushed the toilet.
