When I told all of my friends that I wanted to install an HVAC in my home, they asked what HVAC company I was going to go through.
I had to repeat myself because they weren’t listening to me.
I told them again that I wasn’t using an HVAC company, I was installing the HVAC on my own. They all looked at me for a minute and then all of them burst into laughter. They said there was no way I could install an HVAC system. They said I couldn’t even install the new sound system in my car. I actually had my friend do that because I don’t know anything about car audio. He said installing an HVAC system would be way more challenging than that though. While that may be true, I spent numerous hours studying the installation videos. I felt like I could do this work in my sleep if I had to. I ended up going for the 4 zone HVAC system that was a DIY model and I started the installation as soon as it arrived. I already had all the lineset covers that I needed and I was ready to make this thing work. The summer season was approaching quickly, so I didn’t have much time before the temperatures became unbearable. When I had everything finished and fired up the HVAC system, I loved how well it worked. I invited my buddies over the next day and they all were in disbelief. My best buddy said he put money on me that I would install the HVAC, but everybody else betted against me. At least my best buddy has faith in my skills.
