I just graduated from school.
But it wasn’t your average school.
I took courses at a school to become a certified heating and a/c specialist. So now that I have graduated from that and got our Heating and A/C certification, it is time to go out into the real world and find real work. I have applied to several local heating and a/c companies here in town, and so far I have got nothing back. No reply or anything. It is starting to both annoy and worry me. Are they no longer in need of certified heating and a/c specialists at all our local heat and a/c companies? Or is this just a poor time of year trying to get work going? Whatever the answer I don’t know. But all I do think is the real word out there is rough! Can’t they give a up-to-date heating and a/c specialist such as myself a split and give us some work? I am almost thinking maybe I wasted our money and time going to Heating and A/C school to get our heating and a/c certification all together. The only other choice would be to get a company licence and start our own heat and a/c supplier by becoming an independent heating and a/c specialist. That is actually risky though. Because I would never be guaranteed a paycheck and the whole thing could fail. And if it did, I could be starving, homeless or even worse! So if need be, I am thinking I may need to think outside the box and start searching other cities and relocate if I find something.
