My four-year-old daughter was out in the barn enjoying her dad shear the sheep for summer.
It was still cool outside, however it was that time of year.
I heard her screaming & crying as she ran into the house. She told myself and others daddy took the sheep’s coat off them & they were going to freeze. She wanted extra overcoats to put on them & demanded she take a space furnace out to the barn. I wasn’t about to put a space furnace in the barn since the hay could store heat, & I absolutely would not allow her to take a single to the barn. She insisted the sheep need space heaters, or they were going to sick. I tried to explain to her that the sheep were used to having their wool detachd & it would grow back quickly, although she wasn’t listening. She was already rummaging through her drawers, looking for extra overcoats & warmer clothing. My partner came in & asked where Mary had gone. She came out of her living room with clothing for the sheep & handed them to my partner. She said they had to hurry & put it on the sheep. He looked at myself and others & I shrugged. I told him the clothing was better than the space gas furnaces she wanted to bring out. He rolled his eyeah & walked out of the house. Mary called him back & smiled when he took the overcoats from her. He told her they couldn’t have space gas furnaces because the lambs could get burned. After thinking it over, she agreed to no space heaters.
