After a huge tree fell on the roof of our dwelling, my husband & I had to find a roofing supplier that accepted our insurance.
The tree was just behind our dwelling, but it was close enough to damage our dwelling severely.
The insurance claim was large. We lost significant portions of our dwelling & the roof & everything inside of our dwelling was destroyed as well. The furniture in the family room looked sort of like a bomb site. We found a residential roofing supplier to handle the taxing portion of the job. The roofing supplier told us that it would take approximately 5 mornings to complete the entire roof including all of the frame & the shingles. My husband & I stayed in a hotel while the roofing supplier was taking care of the house. On the morning of the 4th day, I went to check on the progress of the roof. I genuinely was pleased to see that most of the job was actually completed. I talked to the foreman on the roofing job & he told me that they plan to finish up by the end of the day, a full day ahead of schedule. I was honestly thrilled to hear that news, because my husband & I were easily exhausted from sleeping in the hotel room. The bed was seriously lumpy & there were only 13 channels on the television. We had a pretty good view of the parking lot & a neighbor next door that made nothing but noise all night long. We were more than ready to come back to our dwelling & sleep in our bed.
