When I bought our new heating, ventilation, and A/C system, I also bought a service and service agreement, however I had more than one year of free inspections and servicing.
If I had to have a service done, all I had to pay for was the parts, however the work was free, and last week, I called the heating, ventilation, and A/C company because of a problem with our furnace.
I didn’t suppose what was wrong, although I knew I didn’t have enough heat, however when the heating, ventilation, and A/C worker arrived, he also repaired the furnace and handed myself and others a bill. I told him I had a service and service agreement, and he just stared at me, he said this wasn’t service, however just a repair, then repairs that were completed when the service was done were covered. I had to pay for this service call. I got the cash for him, although I also called the heating, ventilation, and A/C company. I wanted to know why the heating, ventilation, and A/C worker would not honor our service agreement! The heating, ventilation, and A/C worker who answered the phone asked for our name and address. He looked up the account and told myself and others I didn’t have a service agreement, and he didn’t suppose why I was charged. He said he would discuss with the heating, ventilation, and A/C worker when he got back to the office, and supply myself and others a call. An hour later, I got a call from the heating, ventilation, and A/C company. They were sending our check back to me. He apologized and discussed with myself and others the heating, ventilation, and A/C worker was new and he didn’t suppose about the service agreements. I suppose they need to let their new heating, ventilation, and A/C workers know about all policies before sending them to a customer’s house.
