I’m not sure why the people I was with and I thought it would be a wonderful plan to go camping while the people I was with and I were in winter; perhaps it was a peer-pressure thing that had us making crazy plans… However, somehow my university buddies and I decided to go on an epic adventure! The two of us had come across an ad for a good Wintertide camping ground.
This location was in a remote location and the Wintertide wonderland views were out of this world; so, the people I was with and I chose to pick one specific weekend and set off to explore this attractive location.
The campground professor was fantastic and helped us set up. But, she also kept saying there were moderate glamping accommodations available if the people I was with and I felt it was too frigid to sleep in a tent, then at that time, the people I was with and I thought she was just trying to mess with us. But, literally by midnight, the people I was with and I were all hurdled in front of a small furnace in one of the glamping accommodations, we’d never been so frigid in our lives. To finally make matters worse, it snowed heavily and hot and cold temperatures dropped even further. The lady was gracious enough to sign up for one glamping tent for us even though the people I was with and I had told her not to mind. She also explained she consistently kept a furnace running in an extra one if there were guests camping out in the snow… Many would finally give up with the epic adventure at around 11 pm when it got too cold and frigid to be outside. The two of us had tried using portable space oil heating systems to moderate our sleeping tents, but there was no attempt. The best thing to do was let go of our pride and run into the glamping accommodation to get warm. Thankfully, the furnace had already warmed up the position by the time the people I was with and I got inside.
