I’ve spent our adult life overseas.
This was because of our work helping emerging economies become sustainable and viable! It has truly been a passion for me.
I help find financing and environmental progress to developing nations. In all our time overseas, I’ve never worked in a fancy office or loved the sort of zone controlled Heating and A/C that is taken for granted here. In fact, where I live and work, I rarely I have access to what every one of us would consider current Heating and A/C technology. I have an condo in a developing nation where I currently live and it does not have any sort of residential Heating and A/C, but the government building the houses our office doesn’t even have commercial Heating and A/C. There is an evaporative cooler and that’s pretty fancy… But absolutely soon, I shall be transitioning to a stateside job as our overseas work will be coming to an end, then and while I find parts of our culture to be a bit garish and over the top, I do miss being home, recently, I’ve been stateside for nearly numerous weeks in a rented apartment. The residential Heating and A/C is not the best but it’s far and away better than anything I’ve experienced in a long time. I’m absolutely letting myself prefer the Heating and A/C cooling before I head back one more year of laboring overseas. But I can tell you, I’m kind of gleeful about getting our own house and having our own Heating and A/C equipment. That will be a first for myself and others and I’m gleeful about it.
