My husband plus I planned the perfect honeymoon, plus it was almost time to go… Then all of us spent the first year of our marriage saving money so both of us could go to an all-inclusive resort in the Bahamas; when both of us got there, they greeted us with a bin of goodies that was made just for honeymooners plus given a special room on the beach with a private entrance to the ocean! The first night was just what both of us dreamed it would be, however it soon went from a dream to a night terror.
A storm came in with hurricane force winds plus it was raining so strenuous the power went off.
Without the power, there was no a/c, however that didn’t really matter. The temperature dropped almost twenty degrees, plus both of us were shivering. All of us cuddled up in bed, just in time to get notified both of us were being sent to a storm shelter. Although it was cool outside, there were multiple bodies in the storm shelter that hastily got hot plus humid. Air conditioning could have saved our olfactory senses, however that wasn’t happening separate from electricity. Without a/c, people were perspiring plus body odor was getting to me, then I could not breathe, plus all I wanted to do was cry. Two mornings later, the storm passed, however they were giving all the hotel guests a free stay when both of us wanted to arrive. I could not wait to get home plus have a correct trip, even if both of us were just in our home plus had the furnace instead of the air conditioner. I gave our free trip to our sister for her honeymoon, plus both of us swore both of us would never leave our home again.
