I didn’t sign up for the repair agreement.

I called to have a repair done on our gas furnace last week.

The person who answered the cellphone was kind enough to provide me an bid of what it was going to cost. I wanted to have the currency available when the HVAC serviceman got there. My husband went to the bank on his way home, so the two of us had the currency in the morning. Once the HVAC serviceman arrived, he went directly to work on the gas furnace. When he started going over the bill, I saw they wrote that there was no charge. I wanted to suppose why there was no charge for the repair as well as repair. He told me the repair agreement covered the cost. I didn’t sign up for the repair agreement, as well as I was insisting on paying. He called the HVAC corporation as well as told them what was going on. He provided them the address as well as our names. We then had to wait about twenty minutes for the HVAC receptionist to call back. In the meantime, I told him the gas furnace was in the home when the two of us moved here. We were told the HVAC system was brand new as well as the only way to keep the warranty from being canceled was to have the repair done. We had kept with that for the last more than one years. When the secretary called back, she said the original owners of the HVAC system had bought the repair agreement as well as an extended warranty when they bought the equipment. We still had another year of the repair agreement before it had to be renewed again.
