We opted to buy ourselves a smart thermostat in order to lower the amount of my energy costs when it came to our central HVAC unit. By having a smart thermostat we can save lots of money on the energy bill. We were unaware of this with the smart thermostats at first. It was not until we read something on an energy saving tips blog that we knew that smart thermostats were a way to save money on your monthly utility bills. Not to mention, in addition to the energy savings, the smart thermostat is simple to use. We love the fact that we can control our central HVAC from the app on our iPhones. When we are at home and don’t feel like getting up to mess with the thermostat, we can just click a few buttons on the smart thermostat and work it that way. Also with the app you can program the smart thermostat to go on and off at specific times. We did not know that the smart thermostat was also a programmable thermostat. This is the best thing for our central HVAC system all around. Because we love being able to program the programmable smart thermostat to go on and off at certain times. It keeps us from having to do it manually and in the event that we forgot to turn off the central heating or the central air conditioner we will not have to worry about freezing our tails off or dehydrating
