Barrack has to run his heat in the flat a lot during winter because it is going to be below freezing for some time. He is a bit leery of doing so because the power rates are high now and Barrack is afraid he won’t be able to spend his money on his bill when it arrives. He will try to hold off spending money. However, that means that Barrack will be behind on his other bills that are due after it. It all works out though and he is just going to trust in the universe. A heating system that is costly to run is still a lot better than no type of heating, or cooling component for that matter. Barrack can’t imagine how these people live out on the streets in this type of frosty weather. With the wind chill several degrees below zero, not having a fireplace or a space furnace to keep you moderate can be life threatening. He sees these guys walking around all the time with the same clothes and sleeping on the beach in this frosty weather. He will just toil more if he needs to earn more money so that Barrack can stay comfy in his apartment over the next few weeks while it is so frosty outside. He feels sorry for that guy who lives separate from any climate control.
