Recently our a/c plan has been giving me some troubles… The concern is that it seems like no matter what I set our thermostat to the lake house will not be the temperature I set it to, i am not sure if it’s our cooling system, or if it’s our heating system, or what it is, then all I think is that I am in the summer time months right now, it’s sizzling outside and I am dying from the heat and I turn our cooling plan on and I see that the thermostat shows the temperature going down but I do not hear the a/c plan kick on and I do not feel any cool air coming from our air vents.
It’s entirely a aggravating concern because as far as I think our thermostat is working completely fine but yet our heating and cooling plan isn’tupdating the temperature to what I said it to. I decided to just go and schedule an appointment with our local heating and A/C contractor and have a cooling specialist come out and take a look at the problem, then when the cooling guy came out he took a look at our heating and A/C unit and told me that there was nothing wrong with either our heating system or our cooling system. When he told me this I knew he had to be wrong because nothing was working when I set the temperature… However he corrected me and told me that our Heating and A/C plan was fine, the concern was our thermostat. It was our thermostat that wasn’t working, not our heating and A/C system. He suggested I replace our thermostat. I wanted to just repair it but it looked like it was too far gone. I think it came out of fine time because I’ve been thinking about upgrading to a Smart thermostat anyways.
