Thirty minutes later, I was covered in sweat profusely & fanning myself; All I could suppose about was my lovelyly air conditioned home, & how badly I wanted to kneel in front of the air conditioning vents right now.
I constantly forget how useful air conditioning is until I am separate from it, however today is a good reminder of why I appreciate Heating & Air Conditioning technology & why I could never live separate from it, and i agreed to go with my partner to a meeting that was taking place outside. This was unlucky, since it was in the 90s outside. The meeting was only supposed to last 20 minutes, however that 20 minutes turned into an ninth due to some concerns & delays. The first 15 minutes wasn’t so bad, however when the sunlight started shining directly on us, I started genuinely feeling the heat. Thirty minutes later, I was covered in sweat profusely & fanning myself; All I could suppose about was my lovelyly air conditioned home, & how badly I wanted to kneel in front of the air conditioning vents right now. I looked over at my partner & noticed he had truly apparent sweat stains down his back & front. I felt terrible for him as well, & all of us exchanged a look that meant all of us needed to leave asap… Finally, when the meeting was coming to a close, all of us gave an excuse to leave early & then practically bolted towards the car. Our hands touched the air conditioning knob inside our car at the same time, & all of us turned the air conditioning on. The car ride back house was a nice cool one, & all of us were start to finally think relaxed, and when all of us made it back to our home, all of us both sat close to the cooling vents, & fully relaxed there.
