The other afternoon sitting in our sunroom enjoying the late afternoon listening to the doves chirp and enjoying the local youngsters ride their bicycles by our condo while sipping a delicious cup of coffee, but these are the afternoons I prefer and as a person who has been retired for the last couple of years, this is the most peaceful thing in our life and I would not trade this time for anything in the world, then it’s usually quiet in our city and it’s extremely rare that anything ridiculous happens but this afternoon I watched our friend Jerry’s a/c fall out of his window and right behind it was a little boy enjoying the destruction he did.
This boy smiled after he destroyed his a/c! Jerry is a sweet guy so I don’t think why a child would do this to him, but he does a lot for the city and is in general a enjoyable person.
Jerry was telling myself and others about his new bestie and how her son acts out at times so maybe jerry thought this afternoon would happen. Jerry did have an HVAC worker install a smart thermostat recently and with our recent talks with him he contacted the heating and cooling corporation to install central a/c. I just hope this kid’s mom undoubtedly talks to him about the destruction he is doing and figure out a way to help him see what his actions are causing. I think Jerry honestly likes this woman so he will take whatever the boy does but this is not quite fair to him.
