We have to run our heat in the lake house a lot this month because it is going to be below cold outside for the next two months.
We are a bit leery of doing so because the power rates are easily high now and we are afraid we won’t be able to pay our bills when they arrive.
Both of us feel we can pay it a bit late, but that means that we will be behind on our other bills that are due after it. It all works out though and we are just going to trust in the universe. A heating component that is lavish to run is still a lot better than no type of heating, or cooling component for that matter. We can’t imagine how these people live out on the streets in this type of freezing weather. With the wind chill several degrees below zero, not having a fireplace or a space heater to keep you moderate can be life threatening. We see this one guy walking around all the time with the same clothes and sleeping on the beach in this freezing weather. Both of us are no heating specialists, but we can’t imagine not having a central heating to keep us warm like this guy is doing. This must be just downright miserable and uncomfortable. We will just work more if we need to earn more money so that we can stay comfy in our lake house over the next few months while it is so freezing outside. Both of us just feel sorry for that guy who lives without any climate control.
