I just woke up and am listening to the radio while drinking my morning coffee. I’m preparing to have my ductwork cleaned today. My ductwork has been needing cleaning for a while, but it seems like it’s taking me forever to actually set up an appointment with a heating and cooling company. I’m aware that calling the heating and air conditioning company to make an appointment only takes five minutes, and that doesn’t even take into account the many HVAC companies that offer online scheduling. It’s not that making a heating and cleaning appointment takes too much time. When it comes to heating and air conditioning-related tasks, I always take much longer than I anticipate taking, which makes it seem as though I’m always busy with something else. I suppose it’s because I don’t really consider my heating and cooling system to be all that important. I’m aware that some people go above and beyond to take excellent care of their heating and cooling systems, but I’m simply not one of them. Sure, if my heating or cooling system malfunctions, I’ll have to fix it, but if it doesn’t, I probably won’t do anything about it because I don’t really see the need to. Any additional funds are simply money wasted that could have been used for something else, in my opinion. Please understand that I adore my heating and cooling system, but I don’t take it too seriously. And if I wanted to invite guests over, that could be a problem. Fortunately, I never do, so responsibility for any problems lies with me.
