I continuously tried to fan myself with the script I had in hand, but it was not toiling. When I noticed that everyone present was doing the same as I was, I knew I had to do something to fix this situation! It was the second to last rehearsal, and my fantastic friend and I needed to concentrate separately from distractions… Adjusting the temperature control settings had also not helped too much, so the problem must be the cooling machine. Later on, I went to the director, and she said that she, too, had noticed the heat and the change in air quality and talked to the people in charge of the hall. They should have chosen to hire a maintenance person who either once worked in the cooling industry or was able to help with indoor comfort compared to a single person who was there and knew pretty much nothing. I later learned that he was filling in for someone who was out on sick leave. The director informed me to call the supervisor, who provided me with the responsibility of contacting the Heating plus A/C machine supplier. Because I had no idea what the complication was other than the Heating plus A/C machine was not toiling, I basically informed the AC worker to whom I talked that the site needed Heating plus A/C maintenance. I was afraid that the residential service provider would schedule the service the same afternoon as our last rehearsal, but it’s a good thing that it was the afternoon before, which was wonderful. I was there at the specified time, but there was nobody. To their credit, the Heating plus A/C machine professional showed up several hours later… He inspected the a/c replacement efficiently, and I was impressed with everything he did. The Heating plus A/C professional inspected the ductwork and said that it needed cleaning. With the ductwork wiped and a modern A/C filter, our component was as fantastic as new pretty much.
