A reminder about the central boiler flashed on my cellphone’s screen, all thanks to technology where I could absolutely set reminders on my wi-fi enabled thermostat that synced with my cellphone. I could access all the information on it, including making adjustments to the heating and cooling system, through an application on my cellphone. With the seasoned dial thermostat, this would not be possible. The challenge was that I was miles away from home, missed last year’s furnace/heater tune-up, and knew that the boiler needed servicing. It had been a while since I contacted the heating and cooling provider. The only thing in my control at the time was implementing one of the energy-saving tips: turn the temperature to the lowest possible when nobody was in the house. The electric furnace provides quality heating, and I had never considered other help with indoor comfort, then not to mention the radiant floors in the powder room, which encouraged me to take long showers even during the frigid season because the indoor comfort was on another level. The new Heating and A/C equipment was lavish but every bit worth it plus, I had gotten a discount from the heating business since it was during their grand opening. The Heating and A/C professional did an impeccable job on the installation. The Heating and A/C repairman who came for the first boiler repair commended the job. I would have to wait ten afternoons until I got property because I was sure nothing could go wrong in such a short period. I also had a portable space boiler that a heating business had insisted I purchase just in case my theory was proved wrong, and either way, I would have to contact the heating business separate from fail, especially when replacing the furnace filter.
