I never would have thought I would find a different heating system that is better than my current gas furnace.
I really enjoy my gas heating system, and I have always wanted a better model when this one doesn’t work anymore.
But now, the heating machine just might have a better competitor. My husband wanted to have radiant heated flooring installed. I wasn’t so sure of this idea, since we didn’t know that much about heated flooring, not to mention, we already had a great form of heating method. But since my husband was persistent, I decided that we should go ahead and get radiant heated flooring. The chosen spot was the bathroom, since the tiles were known for being quite cold. After having a professional heating worker come out and install the heated flooring, we were both eager to try it out ourselves, especially my husband. It was nice and toasty warm, and it will be great to step on after a long shower. I was beginning to see this was a great idea after all. This other form of heating started out only in our bathroom, but now my husband and I are having talks of getting more radiant heated flooring in other parts of the home. I have to say, I really enjoy this method of heating. I might just enjoy this form of heating more than my current gas furnace. We would both like to expand the heated floor into other parts of our home now.
