I was getting my gas tanks filled last week, when the gas guy arrived, he backed into my driveway, just like he consistently does.
I watched as he kept backing up and got closer to the house. I knew the second he hit the a/c unit, because I could hear it and felt the cabin shudder, but not only had he hit the a/c unit, however I was sure he had shoved it into the wall of the house. I walked outside, and the driver was already out of the truck; He was apologetic and saying the gas contractor would pay for the harm. I thought he was saying he was new, and he had never done this before, however I didn’t want to hear it. I saw the wall of the cabin was buckled and the a/c device was almost a foot off its base. I called my child and then my pal and I called the gas contractor. My child was a general contractor and he could tell me if there was any harm to the house, and the gas contractor was going to pay for the A/C device and the house. They driver was about in tears and told me he was going to lose his task, however I was more sad about the harm to my cabin and a/c unit. Twenty minutes later, my child told me it was only cosmetic harm, but it would be valuable to fix, because I needed new siding and some toil done on the foundation in that area. The a/c device could be toast.
