I was getting my gas tanks filled last week! When the gas woman arrived, she backed into my driveway, just like she constantly does.
I watched as she kept backing up and got closer to the house.
I knew the second she hit the a/c unit, because I could hear it and felt the home shudder, however not only had she hit the a/c unit, but I was sure she had shoved it into the wall of the house. I walked outside, and the driver was already out of the truck, she was apologetic and saying the gas supplier would pay for the harm. I thought she was saying she was new, and she had never done this before, but I didn’t want to hear it. I saw the wall of the home was buckled and the a/c unit was almost a foot off its base. I called my child and then my associate and I called the gas dealer. My child was a general supplier and she could tell me if there was any harm to the house, and the gas supplier was going to pay for the AC unit and the house. They driver was about in tears and told me she was going to lose her task, but I was more sad about the harm to my home and a/c unit. Twenty minutes later, my child told me it was only cosmetic harm, but it would be high-priced to fix, because I needed new siding and some labor done on the foundation in that area. The a/c unit could be toast.
