I am a spoiled man.
As I went through life, I never gave much thought to the fact that I have constantly had great central heating and cooling systems in the places where I have lived and worked.
Well, way back in the day when I was just a kid, my associate and I did not necessarily have that, but ever since air conditioning system in homes became commonplace I have constantly had it. About five Or so years ago, I decided to go on trip and rent one of those places you can run online for your trip. I really went farther south than I already live, south of the border, actually. I rented an entire house, a small one, that had what I consider luxury items. They had a pool in the backyard. They had all this amazing stone in the kitchen and lavatorys. They had ceiling fans. It never occurred to me that they would not have air conditioning system, but when I arrived, I discovered that the entire living part of the home had no air conditioning system and no heating. Fortunately for me, they did have a little mini split A/C device in the home office. if it hadn’t been for that little mini split ac, I would have been miserable the entire time I was there. That was when I learned that not every place you go for trip has Central Heating and cooling. Whenever I go on trip again, especially if I use that online service, I constantly check under the amenities part to make sure they have air conditioning system if I am going in the summer time or heating if I am going in the winter.
