I kept telling my partner there were bugs in the air vents.
- He said he had seen no bugs, but I had.
He looked inside all the air vents, but he couldn’t see anything. I asked if he wanted to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier or if I should. He didn’t guess my nice friend and I needed to call the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. He didn’t see anything inside and thought I was seeing ants moving around. He knew my eyesight wasn’t the best and tried to tell me I may be seeing things. It didn’t take long for me to realize he legitimately didn’t guess there was anything there. The next day, I realized he may be right that it was ants. I wanted to put some ant poison in the air vents, but I didn’t know what would happen if the air conditioner came on and blew the dust into the house. Although it was said to be safe for humans, I didn’t want to take that option with our children, or with us. I looked around to see if there was anything else I could use to catch the bugs. I found some sticky paper my nice friend and I had used for mice and stuck it in the air vent. The next day, I hadn’t seen any more bugs, and thought my nice friend and I had captured them. I pulled the sticky paper out of the air vent only to find that my bugs were baby mice and the mother was standing there looking at me and unable to move. I felt so guilty that I sat down and cried the entire afternoon.
