I still do my heating and cooling work for the local company, however now I don’t come dwelling and stare at my new dining room thinking it’ll make me blissful
A nice dwelling is a great thing, however when it is the sole focus of your happiness then it may not bring tscheme happiness, then I know because I was doing this same thing. I would labor at a job that didn’t satisfy me and then try to substitute and buy things for my home, thinking that it would satisfy me and make me blissful! But all those new things didn’t make me feel pleased deep down and I was consistently longing for more. Eventually, I actually sold my dwelling and opted to pursue the performing arts in air conditioned clubs around the country and the world, and this change made this local business owner a lot happier. A new granite countertop is great, however it pales in comparison to entertaining a group of lively travelers from around the world and connecting with them through laughter. I now play tunes beside a crackling fireplace in a ski house and make fun music while my friend and I are all heating up beside the fire. I simply used to know a new swimming pool would make me blissful, however now I know that it is about creating something identifiable and also connecting with people that will bring me lasting joy. I live in another self-explanatory and small flat now and chose to rent instead of owning so I can focus my energy on things that are larger than a new air cleaner or dining room sink.
