I had to get creative when it came to finding a space for myself.
When I was daddy, I pretty much the run of the house.
Or at least my wifey let me feel so. I kept the control component setting more to my liking plus if I wanted to lay in the residing room, I could. Now that I’m just dad, it’s just not that way anymore. Not only do I get all kinds of grief when I mess with the control unit, the residing room is now where my youngsters gather. Our house is where the youngsters come to hang out. And I’m thrilled that they want to hang out in the residing room because it’s an inviting space. For sure, I’d rather that than have them spending all their time in the bedrooms. With daughters, I sort of like open doors. But to get the sort of cooling system plus privacy that I want, I had to go find it. My buddy and I live in a region where there just aren’t that multiple basements. I’m sure there is a water table reason for all of that or whatever, however suffice to say, I don’t have a basement woman cave. However, I had the Heating and A/C professionals come out to put in a ductless heat pump in the attic. Having that ductless heat pump up there makes that space quite lovely. For one thing, it’s completely finished with plywood floors plus sheetrock walls. It didn’t need to be pretty however having that cooling system from the ductless heat pump made all the difference in the world. Now, I can just slip up there with my headphones, kick on the ductless heat pump plus chill out alone.
