I know my terrible flatmate got into a confrontation with her newfound cherish last night. She was supposed to stay at his house last night and tonight, however after this confrontation I’m not sure she will even talk to him anymore. Let’s just see if they patch it up and she stays there tonight, or if they are done and she stays here tonight. She has been simply staying there like four days a week lately, which was nice because it gave me more space alone here, but she is a cool flatmate and my friend and I get along superb while she’s here. Cooling down a relationship with another confrontation, especially a new one like she is in, can be disastrous as I found out when my heating, ventilation, and A/C rep lady and I got into a tiff about our air conditioner. When the relationship is new like that, one large confrontation can be a death sentence if you don’t have great confrontation resolving skills. I believe that my friend and I will see what my heating tech flatmate has as far as resolving skills and if she and he can work it out, which I hope they can for the sake of love.
