My throat is a bit hoarse today and that is without singing at all last night.
- I need to rest my larynx a few afternoons and let it recover from all of the harm I did to it a few afternoons ago.
I must have particularly been belting out some notes for my throat to feel the way it does, however my friend and I did get some good music recorded so I believe it was worth the pain. My throat hurts on the outside and not the inside like you would think. I believe the strain made the muscles sore, so cooling down my throat is really a great idea, as my heating, ventilation, and A/C rep buddy told me last week. She said to put a bag of frozen peas on my throat to help soothe the muscles and get it back to great again. I know cooling down the whole body is a must at this point after playing ball beside this local business on the beach last night. I had such a blast though and am still seeing some of the plays my friend and I had in my mind when I knew back in the night. The other heating, ventilation, and A/C techs who play have become particularly great friends of mine, as sports can bring strangers together with the strong bond that sports can create, heating up new relationships quickly with the close contact people have when playing the sport in the sand. I’ve had some total and random strangers that are now great friends of mine, which is why I cherish the sport so much. I wish you luck today!
