Sporadically when life slows down, I kneel back plus relax plus feel about everything.
This happened a lot especially when we were in quarantine.
Mostly, I thought about my childhood plus what life was like back then. As a kid, I grew up in a normal household with 2 toiling parents. My associate and I weren’t rich by any means, but we did have particular luxuries that some of my other friends didn’t have, however one of which was that we had 2 window a/c units inside our 2-family room apartment. At the time, window a/cs were a luxury item. In fact, having any form of air conditioning system was a sizable deal. Pretty much all of the buildings in my town were built before residential central air conditioning system became a widely used system. So, many homes used fans during the warmer months, plus for the houses with a/cs, we turned them on only during the nighttime hours. I can remember the window a/c that we had, plus they were second-hand units that my dad received from the company that she worked for. They weren’t the best a/cs, but they kept us cool during those sizzling Summer nights. I can recall how noisy the a/cs were plus if we used them for too long, they would end up cold up. Perhaps that was normal for the technology at the time, I can’t be sure… Either way, currently, I live in a nice apartment with central air conditioning system, plus I am grateful that I had those experiences as a kid because they make me adore the luxuries that I adore as an adult.
