I haven’t had the best of luck lately. My computer laptop screen broke and I had to buy another one. The television I ordered online came in with a scratched screen, so I had to send it back. My financial aid for school was never processed, so I had to do it again. I also got charged a late fee. I have been going to the library to use the computer because I could not use my laptop. While I was working in the library the other day, I noticed it getting very warm. I took my sweater off thinking I was just adjusting to the temperature inside the library. Even after I took off my sweater it was very warm. I was actually starting to sweat a little. I am not usually like this in the library. I then heard one of the librarians telling people that their HVAC unit had broken down and it would not be fixed for awhile. They were advised to go somewhere else because it would get very warm inside. I could tell because this was happening already. It was almost becoming unbearable. I had to leave. I had a lot of work to get done, but I couldn’t do it because now I had no computer. The library was my best option. I know that libraries often do not make very much money. They should at least invest in regular maintenance to avoid this. They could make more money by having people come into the library. Not only is this an inconvenience for me, but now it is for other people too.
