I think that in order to be a good teacher, you have to love what you do because it shows in your work. Teaching has challenging moments like any other job, but there are a lot of benefits as well. There’s security in my position, because education will always be valued. Sometimes, teachers benefit from discounts at local stores or websites. Just last week, I realized that the family-owned HVAC company offered 15% off for any military personnel, first responders, or teachers! It was expected that military personnel and first responders would receive a discount, but teachers were rare! Not every establishment valued teachers the same way. 15% off was a big discount in the heat and air industry, so I was excited to utilize it. It was time for me to have my HVAC system serviced for the summer, and school had just let out! It was the perfect opportunity to use the discount because I would be at home during the day to let the HVAC professional inside. Typically, I pay $80 to have a full HVAC service done during the summer. It’s not the most expensive thing that I have to pay for, but it adds up, especially if I need to have something repaired. I was so happy that I’d only have to pay $68 dollars from here on out! I’m so thankful that I get to do what I love by educating children while also getting amazing discounts like this one for the HVAC dealership.
