Did You Know About SEER Rating

I feel like all I do is spend money on bills. I make a nice amount of money each year however I cannot spend a lot of money on myself. I wish I go on vacation every season however I cannot because I do not have the funds for it. Plus not to mention I have to pay rent each month, all of my insurances, my car payment, and groceries. I feel like the list goes on and on and it never ends. I seem to never catch a break, since it seems like all I do is pay bills. I make sure that my bills are as low as they can be, however recently I gained some great advice from my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider. Every 3 months an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business comes to wash my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system and makes sure my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system is running great. She told me that if I want to save even more I should check the efficiency of my a/c unit. I asked him what she meant by that and she said that each a/c unit is measured by SEER! SEER means seasonal energy efficiency ratio. This is a rating that rates the energy use. The higher the rating there is on my system the more efficient the unit is and the more money I can save. When she evaluated my SEER rating she saw that it was rated at 7. She told me that was really low and that if I replace my a/c unit I’ll be able to save money on my bills.
