Did You Know About SEER Rating

I feel like all I do is spend my money on bills.

I make a decent amount of money each year but I can’t spend a lot of money on myself.

I wish I go on vacation every season but I can’t because I don’t have the funds for it. Plus not to mention I have to pay rent each month, all of my insurances, my car payment, and groceries. I feel like the list goes on and on and it never ends. I seem to never catch a break, since it seems like all I do is pay bills. I make sure that my bills are as low as they can be. Recently I received some great advice from my HVAC provider. Every 3 months an HVAC technician comes to clean my HVAC system and makes sure my HVAC system is running great. He told me that if I want to save even more I should check the efficiency of my air conditioning unit. I asked him what he meant by that and he said that each air conditioning unit is measured by SEER. SEER means seasonal energy efficiency ratio. This is a rating that rates the energy use. The higher the rating there is on my system the more efficient the unit is and the more money I can save. When he checked my SEER rating he saw that it was rated at 7. He told me that was very low and that if I replace my air conditioning unit I’ll be able to save money on my bills.
