I graduated from college about six years ago and ever since then I have been lucky enough to have constant work.
I know that a lot of people I went to college with didn’t have the same experience so i do feel lucky that I have been able to find work.
Right when I graduated I accepted an entry-level position with a marketing company. I got my degree in business so I thought marketing would be a great fit for me. After six years at the company, I decided that it was time for me to make a change so I have been looking for new work. I check job boards every morning and haven’t seen anything promising until last week. I saw a position open at an HVAC company. I don’t know anything about heating and cooling, but thankfully they were looking to hire someone in their marketing department. The job description even said that you didn’t have to have prior knowledge of the HVAC industry. So, I decided that it would be a good idea for me to apply and right away I heard back from the HVAC company. I went in for one interview and the HVAC company hired me on the spot. I never thought that I would end up working for an HVAC company, but I am really excited to start my new job. I think I am going to bring a lot to the table and I can’t wait to start meeting all the people that work at the HVAC company. I think just really needed a change.
