I have been having some major issues with my landlord for the last couple of months. It seems like I can’t get a hold of him no matter how hard I try. I have had problems with some of the appliances around my apartment that require my landlord to help me fix and I need him to answer his phone. However, it seems like no matter how many times I call my landlord he won’t pick up. I have even tried to text and email him, but neither one of those things have helped either. So, last week when my air conditioning stopped working I already knew that it was going to be an issue getting it fixed. I wondered if I should try to call an HVAC company myself without trying to get my landlords approval, but then I might have to pay for the cost of having my air conditioning fixed. I knew that getting my air conditioner fixed would cost me a ton of money and I really didn’t have enough to cover the cost of the air conditioning repair. So, I tried to call my landlord about six times without him responding. I really don’t know what to do at this point because I really just want to have the air conditioning working properly in my apartment. I really don’t want to have to wait any longer because it is the middle of the summer time and I am tired of being in my house and sweating without the air conditioning.
