I woke up this morning with a pit in my stomach! I just had a feeling something was wrong. I got up plus walked around my apartment, which wasn’t hard because I basically live in a shoebox. I didn’t see anything visibly wrong, however when I walked by the closet that hold my HVAC unit I knew that’s where the problem was, right when I walked by I stepped in a big puddle. I almost fell to be fair because I wasn’t expecting it. I knew my proprietor was not going to be excited with this, however I went ahead plus called him immediately, he said it was mostly likely caused by the coil chilly because the filter to the HVAC unit had not been changed like it should be. I knew in my mind that I had never changed the filter plus I had already lived in the loft for about six months. However, I told him the a/c filter had been changed two months ago. I felt bad about lying, however I didn’t want for him to charge me for the cost of the HVAC service because I knew that was going to be pricey. He told me that I needed to call an HVAC repairman to come out plus look at the HVAC unit. He gave me the number of the guy he contracts with so I went ahead plus called right then! Luckily, the HVAC repairman was able to come out that day plus service the unit plus it turns out my proprietor was right about the filter! Next time I will be better about changing it!
