I knew in my mind that I had never changed the filter plus I had already lived in the apartment for about six months.
I woke up this day with a pit in my stomach; I just had a feeling something was wrong. I got up plus walked around my apartment, which wasn’t difficult because I basically live in a shoebox. I didn’t see anything visibly wrong, however when I walked by the closet that hold my Heating plus A/C device I knew that’s where the concern was! Right when I walked by I stepped in a immense puddle. I almost fell to be even-handed because I wasn’t expecting it. I knew my landlord was not going to be glad with this, although I went ahead plus called him instantaneously… He said it was mostly likely caused by the coil freezing because the filter to the Heating plus A/C device had not been changed like it should be. I knew in my mind that I had never changed the filter plus I had already lived in the apartment for about six months. However, I told him the air conditioner filter had been changed two months ago. I felt terrible about lying, although I didn’t want for him to charge me for the cost of the Heating plus A/C repair because I knew that was going to be high-priced. He told me that I needed to call an Heating plus A/C repairman to come out plus look at the Heating plus A/C unit. He gave me the number of the guy he contracts with so I went ahead plus called right then, but luckily, the Heating plus A/C repairman was able to come out that afternoon plus maintenance the device plus it turns out my landlord was right about the filter! Next time I will be better about changing it!
