Anniversary Trip with no AC

July is my favorite month of the year! I love to celebrate Independence Day; it is probably my favorite holiday.

My son was born in July, so that makes it an even more special time of the year.

By far, the greatest gift I’ve been given is the gift of marriage. My husband and I were married July 7, 2005. My life has never and will never be the same. I love him so much. We plan an anniversary trip each year, and we look forward to it year round. This trip is really our only vacation for the year, so we try to make it as special as possible. Our favorite trip so far was our two week vacation in the Rocky Mountains. Every trip comes with its share of troubles and obstacles, and that particular trip was no exception. After being in our cabin for four days, we noticed that the AC unit was not blowing cold air anymore. It was certainly blowing, but the air that it was blowing was very warm. My husband knew what was wrong and exactly how to fix it, but he needed to purchase something to in order to fix it, and the closest store was over sixty miles away. We decided to just see if we could make it with no AC for the rest of the time and let the owner know about the problem as soon as we got cell service. It was very hot without the AC, but we tried to make the best of it. We ended up sleep in a tent beside the cabin because it was so much cooler than inside the cabin. Although the AC gave us trouble, we didn’t let it spoil our trip, and some of our fondest memories were made there.
