Right before the summer season, I hired the HVAC company to come service my HVAC system before the temperature got too extreme.
When the HVAC professional was servicing my HVAC system, he pulled me aside and told me that my furnace wasn’t in good shape. I couldn’t understand everything he was telling me because I don’t know much about HVAC systems, but I was sceptical about it. I wasn’t prepared to purchase a new furnace, so I contacted a different HVAC company to come look at my HVAC system again. When that HVAC professional told me the same thing, I knew that I couldn’t avoid a new furnace. SInce it was summer and I didn’t need my furnace, I thought about waiting until the fall to have my new furnace installed. However, something in my gut told me to just do it rather than wait, which is exactly what I did. I bought a new furnace and had it installed during the middle of summer. I felt a little silly at the time, but I knew I’d thank myself later. When it was time to turn off my AC system and turn on my furnace this past fall, I was relieved that I’d already installed the new furnace rather than wait. I didn’t have to fight the crowds or wait for the furnace to come in. Buying a new furnace was one less thing I had to worry about.
