Building your own apartment is not as easy & convenient as it once seemed.
We are so thankful for our house; it is a superb size for us, & its old farmdwelling look is honestly our favorite style.
The only thing that my hubby & I don’t like about our modern apartment is the location; it’s in the city. My hubby was offered a task last year that we never dreamed he would get, & it has enabled us to be able to save enough currency to beginning building our dream house. The design for our modern apartment is similar to our modern house, but the land we bought to build it on is way out in the country. At first, I enjoyed the thought of building our own home, but after realizing how many decisions have to be made, I find it to be a undoubtedly stressful task. Believe it or not, the hardest decisions for me so far have been picking out the Heating & Air Conditioning units that are both practical & affordable. After much researching, we made the decision to go with a central air conditioner throughout the house. I really wanted to heat the dwelling the old fashioned way with wood stoves & fireplaces, but my hubby wasn’t into it. We eventually agreed that radiant floor heating was our best option. The last Heating & Air Conditioning decision we made was to instal an air cleaner throughout our entire apartment because of the air pollution we get from the large cities surrounding us. With all the decisions that come with building your own house, I guess it may have been easier to just stay in our modern home, but I’m cheerful to be moving out of the city.
