Building your own dwelling is not as easy and convenient as it once seemed.

The only thing that my partner and I don’t like about our new dwelling is the location; it’s in the city. My partner was gave a task last year that we never dreamed he would get, and it has enabled us to be able to save enough currency to start building our dream house. The design for our new dwelling is similar to our new house, but the land we purchased to build it on is way out in the country. At first, I enjoyed the thought of building our own home, but after realizing how many decisions have to be made, I find it to be a truly stressful task. Believe it or not, the hardest decisions for me so far have been picking out the Heating as well as A/C units that are both practical and affordable. After much researching, we decided to go with a central a/c system throughout the house. I undoubtedly wanted to heat the dwelling the outdated fashioned way with wood stoves and fireplaces, but my partner wasn’t into it. My friend and I eventually agreed that radiant floor heating was our best option. The last Heating as well as A/C decision we made was to instal an media air cleaner throughout our entire dwelling because of the air pollution we get from the important cities surrounding us. With all the decisions that come with building your own house, I know it may have been easier to just stay in our new home, but I’m glad to be moving out of the city.
