The Air Handler was Broken

My boiler is older so I’ve been diligently taking care of it for many years now.

I make sure that I have it maintained twice per year, I scrub out the air ducts regularly, & I make sure that I’m setting my control unit to an optimal temperature. Because I know that my boiler is aging & becoming more fragile as the years pass, I do my part to spend money attention to the way it’s running. This means that I spend money attention to the amount of times my boiler kicks on & the air coming out of the air vents. I don’t go out of my way to track this activity, although I do spend money attention to it when I can. I’m glad that I’ve gotten into this habit, because as I was kneeling on my couch the other afternoon, I noticed something odd about my boiler. The airflow coming from the air vents was low. The air was still hot & it was still pouring into my house, however the airflow wasn’t as strong as it normally was. I called an Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional instantly to diagnose the problem. After inspecting the entire Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional told me that I had a broken air handler. The air handler controlled the blower, which was why the airflow was low. Thankfully, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional was able to service my air handler & the air was back to flowing regularly again. If I wouldn’t have paid attention to my boiler, it could have been weeks until I noticed this problem.
