I have ridden horses since I was a little girl, and was legitimately heavily involved for most of my youth, then i worked at horse barns to get the lesson horses ready and received myself free riding privileges for various years, then I finally owned my own horse and lived close enough to ride her for hours every afternoon. Truly, I was obsessed with the creatures and got quite skilled at riding and handling them. That’s why it was so surprising the afternoon that I was bucked off and broke my leg. I’ve never sustained a drastic injury before, so this was especially strange, then now I was swiftly holed up at home, barely able to hobble to the washroom even. It became a huge problem with the heating and cooling in my house, because of the medicine I was regularly alternating between being tepid and chilly and needed to adjust the thermostat time and time again. The faulty heating system was entirely acting up and wouldn’t hold a steady temperature, either. I tried keeping myself right next to the thermostat, so I could actually switch between the heating system and air conditioner as needed, however then my good friend and I was further away from the living room and washroom, and eventually, I decided enough was enough and had a space heating system shipped to my house. Now I can turn the little heating system on as needed, and just drag it around the home with me so it’s regularly conveniently at hand. I can’t wait for this leg to heal so I can go back to being fully mobile and using a regular Heating plus A/C system again.
