Our band is going to head south soon and try out a odd city for a month to see how much people like our music and how much currency my associate and I can pull in.
- My friend and I plan on going to this larger city and staying for a month there while my associate and I play every afternoon for 30 days.
If the town is as tied up as they say it is after that I should be able to make $150 a afternoon each if my associate and I play four hours a afternoon. That would be a nice little chunk of money considering my associate and I can stay for free in air conditioned luxury in our RV. My friend and I could entirely keep doing this and just live off of the music money and not have to toil for the heating corporation doing furnace repairs and fireplace installs any more. It seems like a cool way to live, just playing music and entertaining people each afternoon, despite the fact that I wonder if I would get sleepy of doing it so much. I know my Heating and A/C tech job would always be there for me if I wanted to come back and toil for the local corporation again one afternoon, despite the fact that I suppose once I close that chapter in my book I wouldn’t open it again. I enjoy playing music and can’t see myself getting sleepy of doing it, unless my shoulders get too sore from playing the drum all of the time. Maybe I could do some heating and a/c service on the road if I needed a split from music, despite the fact that I know I’ll have to try to know for sure.
