Always look for the silver lining because it’s there!

I used to savor my task.

Being a Heating and A/C professional had been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid.

My dad would take me along with him when she was doing service on oil furnaces and units. She instilled a sense of labor ethics and the want to be a Heating and A/C professional while I was toiling with him. As soon as I graduated high university, I went to a job center and found where the nearest Heating and A/C courses were being held. I ended up taking a university course at the local community university. Two years later, I was a Heating and A/C specialist. I had an buddys degree in Heating and A/C and I was start my job. I would have never thought I could become as aggravated with my task as I was now. My wife consistently tells me to look for the silver lining when something aggravateds me. Right now, there is no silver lining. The two of us have a new owner who seems to be trying to push out all of the Heating and A/C professionals who were under the old owner. I was ready to throw in the towel and quit. My wife told me that maybe this was just the start of a new job. I didn’t want a new job because I still wanted to be a Heating and A/C professional. I had all the training I needed to be a Heating and A/C contractor. She smiled when I said that, and said maybe I’m looking in the wrong locale for the silver lining. That was many years ago, and I am now a Heating and A/C contractor with my own growing business.
