How much is it these days

I wanted to go out & buy a portable air conditioning equipment for our current dining room. The reason for this was that our central heating & air conditioning equipment did not have air vents in the room where our office is located. This was due to myself and others being cheap when I had the extension built on to the house. To have air vents put in & extra air duct laid would have cost myself and others a fortune. And building this office space already had done that on its own! So I figured I could just go out & buy a portable air conditioning equipment for the summer time weeks. The Wintertide I didn’t have to worry much about un-even temperatures as this room was so air tight, unless it was frosty out, I would be fantastic without heating or air conditioning. If it did get cold, I already have a portable space heater. But now for the portable air conditioning unit, the question was how much are those things? The price of portable air conditioning units seemed to have gone up from everywhere I was looking. I remember them being no more than a few hundred bucks, but now, it looks prefer everywhere I was looking was wanting a little over 4 hundred dollars for the portable air conditioning unit. I am going to believe that this is the cost of portable air conditioning these days, & I am going to have no option however to pay it if I want to have some kind of cooling in our current dining room space! Which I most truly need!
