Heating and cooling equality throughout the house

I guess my days as setter of the thermostat are over. We recently had the HVAC company come out to tweak the HVAC equipment. They added all sorts of stuff in the ductwork and elsewhere. But now, we have zone controlled HVAC in our home. And hopefully, this will now make everyone happy. I live in a house of girls and I’m noticing that my opportunities to live in this house as I wish are fading. So, you just do the best you can to stave off total anarchy. Just can’t have that at all. When I started getting all the complaints about the thermostat setting from different voices in my house, my radar went up. Then, I noticed that there were growing disagreements on the thermostat setting. This then led to resentments which the girls then got all into each other over. This just wouldn’t do for me as I need the peace in my house. Hence, the zone controlled HVAC I just paid for to make a reality. There is still one main thermostat that is also a smart thermostat. Then there are five other thermostats which can be operated independently. But the main one controls all of it if need be. I can sort of understand how the girls aren’t exactly fans of my thermostat setting. For me, I like it a bit cooler with the HVAC heating and a bit on the warmer side for HVAC cooling. That sounds counter intuitive but I think my internal thermostat is set by my needs to save money on HVAC costs.
