When our spouse & I purchased a home, all of us moved to a location with a fairly mild climate, however the only genre of heating method in the house was a fireplace.
There was no cooling method to speak of however our neighbors were saying how it never became warm in the area.
They said if it did become warm, all the people used ceiling fans or stationary fans to keep cool, then well, I thought the neighbors were full of it when all of us chose to go through our first Summer season at this location. There was really a heatwave & it turned out that our neighbors had more than just ceiling fans! They had their cooling systems & everybody was using their air conditioner. The neighbors didn’t really have a central cooling system, however they did have a couple of window air conditioner units; Still, I was not ecstatic that they made me think I should not invest in a good cooling system; If I would have known all of us were expecting a heatwave in the moderate season, I would have at least purchased a couple of window air conditioner units. I ended up rushing to the store & getting some nice window air conditioner units that had built in smart thermostats. These are convenient to use because you can adjust the temperature control settings from virtually anywhere, eventually, I want to have a central Heating and Air Conditioning method that works with a smart thermostat. This way, no matter what the temperatures are, all of us can be comfortable no matter what in our home. That is the kind of life I want to live.
